NO BETTER WAY TO START THE DAY

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

Colossians 1:9-12
…ask God to fill you with the knowledge of his will through all the wisdom and understanding that the Spirit gives, so that you may live a life worthy of the Lord and please him in every way: bearing fruit in every good work, growing in the knowledge of God, being strengthened with all power according to his glorious might so that you may have great endurance and patience, and giving joyful thanks to the Father...

Let’s get today or if necessary the next “minutes” of today off to a good start or back on track.  Paul offered this encouragement.  I think we should take it to heart today.

1.   Let’s ask GOD for direction (His will) and understanding for what we are about to encounter today.  Let’s align ourselves with the direction and expectations of GOD.  This is an individual process.  GOD knows specifically what your best course of action and reaction is today.  Ask Him to help you see it so that you can please Him!

Psalm 37:23 (CEB)
A person’s steps are made secure by the Lord when they delight in his way.

2.   Pray that GOD is glorified in all that you say and do today (bear good fruit).  Step out of the busyness of your schedule and seek an opportunity to bless someone else or in whatever you do or say today, do it in a manner that GOD would be recognized!
Colossians 3:23 (TLB)
23 Work hard and cheerfully at all you do, just as though you were working for the Lord...

3.   Pray that you will “GROW” in the LORD today; grow in knowledge, strength, patience, and perseverance!
Ephesians 5:16-17 (LB)
…make the most of every opportunity you have for doing good. Don’t act thoughtlessly, but try to find out and do whatever the Lord wants you to.

4.   Be grateful.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 (LB)
No matter what happens, always be thankful, for this is God’s will for you who belong to Christ Jesus.

Pray this prayer.
Commit these other passages to heart and practice.

I believe if you do, GOD will radically “impact” your day; your days in fact!
 John 15:7 (CEB)
If you remain in me and my words remain in you, ask for whatever you want and it will be done for you.

NO BETTER WAY to start a day!

I love you all…
HAVE A GREAT AND BLESSED WEEKEND!
