STRENGTHENING JOY!

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)

The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

Happiness is about what happens to you; and, to an extent, it's dependent on your circumstances, your behaviors, and your attitudes. But the joy of Christ is much, much bigger. The joy of Christ is about relationship with a person. It's something you have access to, but it's also something you must choose. Christian joy shows up not only in the happy times but also in times of trial and discouragement. - David Jeremiah

the joy of the Lord will make you strong. – Nehemiah 8:10 (LB)

Joy. Everyone wants it.

Everyone promises it. But can anyone deliver it?

Just GOD.

God wants his children to be joy-filled. Just like a FATHER wants his baby to laugh with glee, God longs for us to experience a deep-seated, deeply rooted joy; STRENGTH GIVING joy!

God is not interested in putting a temporary smile on your face. He wants to deposit a resilient hope in your heart. He has no interest in giving you a shallow happiness that melts in the heat of adversity. But he does offer you a joy: a deep-seated, heart-felt, honest-to-goodness, ballistic strong sense of joy that can weather the most difficult of storms. - Lucado

I think “STRENGTH joy is COURAGOUS JOY”, for courageous joy turns us into stronger people. Courageous joy sets the hope of the heart on Jesus and Jesus alone and since no one can take your Christ, no one can take your joy. - believing in him you are saturated with an ecstatic joy - 1 Peter 1:8 (TPT)

So…

Can failure take your joy?

Nope! Jesus is greater than your sin.

Betrayal??

Nope, because Jesus will never leave you.

What about disappointment?

Nah baby nah!

Even though your plan may not work out, you know God’s plan will. – Jeremiah 29:11

Jesus promised, “No one will take away your joy” (John. 16:22).

That is true!

Remember…

The Lord gives his people perpetual joy when they walk in obedience to him. - Dwight L. Moody

Embrace that joy today!

Have a blessed day today!

I love you all
