ANSWERLESS QUESTIONS

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

“The scans confirmed it. Cancer is the diagnosis treatments to begin soon.”
“Pack up your desk and someone will escort you out” he says.
“Denied again? But why?”
“Sorry, you are just not what we were looking for.”

Life sometimes blindsides us and it often confounds us.  Unexpected and seemingly unfair decisions and diagnoses rattle us.

It often leaves us wondering…
Why?
Why GOD.
Why this?  Why now?
What am I to do?”

And His answer?
Trust Me.

“That is it?” we say.  And GOD answers in the affirmative.  "Yes, trust me."

“Trusting GOD means looking beyond what we can see to what GOD sees” – Charles Stanley

“We must cease striving and trust God to provide what He thinks is best and in whatever time He chooses to make it available. But this kind of trusting doesn't come naturally. It's a spiritual crisis of the will in which we must choose to exercise faith.”  ― Charles R. Swindoll

And that includes trusting GOD to supply the answers to the questions that seemingly are "answerless" or worse yet that just lead to even more questions and more gloom.

But as Swindoll says trusting in times like these doesn’t come naturally.  It is hard! It requires faith!

That is why in times like these we must put down our understanding and lean on GOD’s.
Proverbs 3:5
Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not trust in your own understanding.

I know many of you will find it hard to believe but every one of those quotes that opened today’s thought is real.  Every one of those quotes was uttered to me since Monday night.  And as I searched for answers to their "answerless" questions, I am thankful that I can utter that simple passage from Proverbs, I am thankful that through faith I can encourage my friends in crisis to see past the circumstances they face and have the assurance that our consistent and constant GOD is still on the job and that all will be “alright”.

No matter what you go through in life, no matter how many disappointments you suffer, your value in God’s eyes always remains the same. You will always be the apple of His eye. He will never give up on you, so don’t give up on yourself.” ― Joel Osteen

I am thankful I can encourage someone to NOT give up because GOD has still GOT this and them just as He did yesterday, just as He will today and if tomorrow comes, tomorrow as well.
It is true!

2 Corinthians 4:16-18
The Message (MSG)
16-18 So we’re not giving up. How could we! Even though on the outside it often looks like things are falling apart on us, on the inside, where God is making new life, not a day goes by without his unfolding grace. These hard times are small potatoes compared to the coming good times, the lavish celebration prepared for us. There’s far more here than meets the eye. The things we see now are here today, gone tomorrow. But the things we can’t see now will last forever.

Perhaps one of those opening quotes applies to you today.  Perhaps you are staring at the "answerless" question yourself.  The answer, though simple is a tough one.
Trust. Have faith. Don’t give up.

“The fear is suffocating, terrorizing, and I want the remedy, and it is trust. Trust is everything.” ― Ann Voskamp

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
Love you all.
