Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate
with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what
He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray.
Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
“Grace
has to be the loveliest word in the English language. It embodies almost every
attractive quality we hope to find in others. Grace is a gift of the humble to
the humiliated. Grace acknowledges the ugliness of sin by choosing to see
beyond it. Grace accepts a person as someone worthy of kindness despite
whatever grime or hard-shell casing keeps him or her separated from the rest of
the world. Grace is a gift of tender mercy when it makes the least sense.” ―
Charles R. Swindoll
I bumped into the beautiful quote today.
Says a lot doesn’t it? Especially when we know about
the sufficiency of GOD’s GRACE!
…the LORD said, “My GRACE is sufficient” (2
Corinthians 12:9)
Grace allows us to see past ugliness because it
motivates us to forgive.
Grace removes bitterness because it motivates us to “forget”
as well.
I love the line that grace ACCEPTS others warts and
all; hard casings and hard lines as well.
And while there are times when grace doesn’t make
sense, grace is always a fit. Why?
Because we have experienced the ultimate grace.
Romans 5:7-8 (MSG)
We can understand someone dying for a person
worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire
us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering
his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him.
So try this today.
Accept GOD’s grace.
Bathe in its sufficiency.
Offer hearty and grateful thanks for it!
Then extend it.
Someone I am sure could use some.
Maybe that someone is you…
GRACE
is the GIFT of God's Riches' the PEACE of God, The LOVE of God, The HOPE of
God.” ― Max Lucado
I love you all
