PURSUE AND PRESENT

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

Paul said it this way in Philippians 3

(Focused on the Goal)

…I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.

So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision—you’ll see it yet! Now that we’re on the right track, let’s stay on it.

That should be our GOAL today.

Focus on knowing Jesus more and doing our best to sharing Him with others.

Let’s not let the cultural obstacles confound or distract us.

Let’s keep our focus.

Let’s commit today to “CHRIST-LIKE” pursuits.

Can we show His compassion?

Can we demonstrate His good character?

Can we share His wisdom?

Remember Christ is prepared and ready to teach and train us!

Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it.

But let’s not just be spectators or students.

Let’s go after Him and when possible share what we have seen and learned.

If we do it WILL CHANGE us for the better, bring us closer to Him, make us more effective ambassadors and change the world around us!

I believe that is what we all want, a radiant life.

Amen?

And that life is realized when we stay focused on the goal, when we keep pursuing Christ, when we stay on His track for this day and everyday and when we are willing to ask others to join us on the journey to Him!
