DARING LIGHT

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

You are the world’s light—a city on a hill, glowing in the night for all to see. Don’t hide your light! Let it shine for all; let your good deeds glow for all to see, so that they will praise your heavenly Father.

Therefore…

“Dare to Be"

When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.

When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light….

When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal…

When another is lost, dare to help them find the way.

When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand.

When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile.

When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.

When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best.

To be LIGHT means to BE DARING!!!

Light penetrates.

Light illuminates.

Light isn’t PASSIVE!

It takes RISK to be LIGHT!

And Jesus PRESSED us to BE DARING. 

Daring light! 

Daring workers!

Daring DIFFERENCE MAKERS!!!

See someone thirsty? Give them a drink. 

See one shivering? Offer a coat. 

Witness oppression? Offer sanctuary.

He asked us to be BOLD in SERVICE!

Jesus ALWAYS saw HIS JOB as BRINGING light into dark places.  

His work backed up his talk ALL THE WAY to the CROSS.

And HE DARES us to do the same today!

It is important that our WORK, the way we approach our VOCATION, our DAY, our INTERACTIONS, all EXEMPLIFY CHRIST.

In other words, the way WE WORK should reflect our LIGHT-BEARING leader.  We should DARE to always do our best!

For when we do, JESUS has the OPPORTUNITY for GLORY!!! 

Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master… Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. Colossians 3:22 (MSG)

So, the message is clear today.

Dare to BE LIGHT.

Dare to be YOUR BEST.

Dare to BRING GOD GLORY. 

No time for "half-hearted" efforts or for bringing anything less than your A-GAME.
