ENERGY!

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)

1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

You tired?

We all experience fatigue.

Truth is we often keep pressing and pushing until we become tired, or dare I say even irritable? But the bottom line is we must not let fatigue keep us from the “call” right in front of all of us.

Galatians 6:9-10

So let’s not allow ourselves to get fatigued doing good. At the right time we will harvest a good crop if we don’t give up, or quit.

We have what it takes!

Why?

Because the LORD does step in when we are a little frazzled.

He does lift our levels when we are hovering around empty. He offers a “spiritual surge” when the need arises!

When we are going about “His” work (which is what that "call" is all about), then that energy is in abundant supply!

Philippians 2:13

Be energetic in your life of salvation, reverent and sensitive before God. That energy is God’s energy, an energy deep within you, God himself willing and working at what will give him the most pleasure.

So why do we sometimes rely only upon our own energy?

Good question.

Maybe we are not the sharpest tools in the shed some days… (several have said that about me I am sure!)

So let’s be a little sharper today.

Let’s spend our own energies on listening and responding to GOD’s plan for us, on what GOD has in mind for this day, it’s interactions and it’s challenges!

Colossians 1:11-12

As you learn more and more how God works, you will learn how to do your work. We pray that you’ll have the strength to stick it out over the long haul—not the grim strength of gritting your teeth but the glory-strength God gives. It is strength that endures the unendurable and spills over into joy, thanking the Father who makes us strong enough to take part in everything bright and beautiful that he has for us.

“Lord, You are the source of my strength, you are the strength of my life.”

I love you all.
