Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
"He is CHRIST in the crisis." – Anna Brooks
As Anna was sharing the significance of COMMUNION this past Sunday, she made this intensely affirming statement.
Financial crisis? Christ is in it.
Relational crisis? Christ is already in it.
Familial crisis? Christ is in it.
What did she mean?
As she was steering our hearts and minds to the cross in anticipation of communion, she channeled a very important truth about our Lord. That HE…
is our refuge and strength, A very PRESENT HELP in trouble. - Psalm 46:1 (ASV)
Catch that my friends?
A very PRESENT help.
So, whatever the trouble, Christ is already PRESENT in it. And if He is already PRESENT, then He already understands the challenge and more importantly He already has a path through it, over it, or around it. - he’ll (the LORD will) always be there to help you come through it. - 1 Corinthians 10:13 (MSG)
Whatever IT is.
Bullard once remarked, that “Jesus Christ can help us fix anything that needs fixing in our lives.”
That is most certainly true.
And HOW does He do that, by being PRESENT!
The Lord is watching everywhere – Proverbs 15:13 (NLT)
Where shall I go from your Spirit? Or where shall I flee from your presence? If I ascend to heaven, you are there! If I make my bed in Sheol, you are there! If I take the wings of the morning and dwell in the uttermost parts of the sea, even there your hand shall lead me, and your right hand shall hold me. – Psalm 139:7-10 (ESV)
he is before all things, and in him all things hold together.
Colossians 1:17 (ESV)
What crisis are you facing today?
Do you feel alone? Under-equipped? Overwhelmed?
Take Anna at her word.
Her inspiration was divine and most certainly backed up.
Trust it. Christ is IN your CRISIS; He is PRESENT and PREPARED for it and for you!
Lucado said it this way and I think it wraps today’s thought nicely…
"We (Christians) are always in the presence of God. There is never a non-sacred moment! His presence never diminishes. Our awareness of His presence may falter, but the reality of His presence never changes."
And that is most certain true in our crisis.
Have a blessed day…
I love you all.
