Yesterday during our Pastor Mark’s talk about “Life is a DASH”, a talk that focused on the DASH between your BIRTH DAY and “END” day and the importance of MAKING THE MOST of that DASH, he shared a little quote from Billy Graham…

We are not cisterns made for hoarding, we are channels made for sharing. - Billy Graham

Let that sink in for a second.

I really like that.

Think about it. The water in CISTERNS will eventually grow stagnant and stale.  

Yet a CHANNEL is VIBRANT, FLOWING and usually TEAMING with LIFE!!!

Pastor Mark went on to expand that a good “DASH” would be a life characterized by DISCIPLINE, APPRECIATION, SHARING and HOPE.  And the Graham quote was a part of the SHARING point and the one that sort of jumped off the screen and the one that I thought was a good thought for the OFH today. 

don’t forget to do good and to SHARE with those in need.

You know I often encourage you via this forum to SERVE and to SUPPORT.  

Today I am encouraging you to SHARE.

It is an easy thing to do.

SIMPLE!

Don’t have any resource?  SHARE a smile.

Got an extra few minutes, SHARE some hope via a phone call, text message or a note for someone who could use a little pick me up.

And while our society is currently more known for it’s OVER SHARING thanks to social media, good OLD FASHION SHARING is still a welcomed activity.
