JOYFUL STRENGTH

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)

The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

Circumstances and frustration draining you?

Are they trying to steal your joy?

They CAN drain us, upset us, confused, and confound us when they are not going our way.

Don’t let them today.

Don’t succumb to a clichéd case of the “Monday's”.

Be reminded!

…The deepest pains may linger through the night, but joy greets the soul with the smile of morning. Psalm 30:5 (ERV)

And while the night might have been a long one or you experienced a weekend that was more frustrating than fun, JOY has greeted and smiled on you with the rising of the sun.  It has because it is bathed in the new and indomitable mercy of GOD Himself and HIS JOY is so strong it is even “CIRCUMSTANCE proof”

And as a result, IT makes you strong.

…the joy of the Lord is your strength. - Nehemiah 8:10 (NIV)

That is why GOD encourages us to find JOY in Him always even when circumstances dictate otherwise.  

Because He knows therein lies the strength we need. 

Therefore, right off the jump today let’s…

 Celebrate God…I mean, revel in him! - Philippians 4:4 (MSG)

GOD encourages us that even amid hardship, we can purposefully CHOOSE to live with JOY. In fact, GOD expects that of us. He even equips our SPIRITS for the job so HE is doing the heavy lifting!! 

But the Holy Spirit produces this kind of fruit in our lives: love, JOY, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…Galatians 5:22 (ESV)

So, while difficulty may be inevitable, God's JOY-LADEN truth is unshakeable and it WILL sustain and strengthen you today!

So, TRUST HIM for the right measure of strength on this Monday knowing that…

The Lord is my (your) strength and my (your) safe cover. My (your) heart trusts in Him, and YOU ARE helped! - Psalm 28:7 (ESV)

The joy of the Lord is OUR strength, knowing that He is with US knowing that He will never leave US, knowing that He is bigger than any circumstance, and that He loves us is JUST ENOUGH for today. – adapted from Vujicic
