Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
GOD isn’t casual when it comes to HIS DESIRED RELATIONSHIP with us.
He is “all in”.
And He desires for us to know Him like He knows us; intimately, relationally, deeply, and unwaveringly.
Remember He
Knew us before anyone else... (Jeremiah 1:5)
He knows…
Every feature and detail about us down to the last of hair…
(Matthew 10:30)
He also knows our hurts and He wants to heal them.
He knows our fears and He wants to dispel them. (2 Timothy 1:7)
He knows our apprehensions and doubts and He wants to quell them.
(Philippians 4:6)
Just face it, He knows us better that we “know us”.
This is your Father you are dealing with, and he knows better than you what you need… (Matthew 6:8 MSG)
So why not trust Him today?
Why not take Him at His Word when He says He has planned your steps, knows your thoughts, and understands your trials.
Why not embrace the promise that nothing escapes His attention, His doting love, or His investment in us?
Why not realize that we are...
...an open book to you (GOD); even from a distance, you know what we're thinking. You know when (we) leave and when (we) get back; (we are) never out of your sight. You know everything (we are) going to say before we start the first sentence. (We) look behind (us) and you’re there, then up ahead and you’re there, too— your reassuring presence, coming and going... (Psalm 139:1-6 MSG)
Quite staggering I think.
But don’t just be in “awe”, instead embrace the intimacy!
Love Him back! (1 John 4:19)
Open your heart and SHARE YOURSELF with GOD.
God won’t force Himself on you.
He won’t.
But the door to HIS heart is always open! So why NOT get to know Him like He already knows you; deeply lovingly and completely!
Begin this morning!
GOD is asking you to!
give me your heart and let your eyes delight in my ways – Psalm 23:4 (NIV)
