CONQUER

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

A much-needed reminder from Francis today!

I’ll admit it.  I feel a “little conquered” this morning.

Efforts to help have backfired.

The to do list is starting to look like a to do book.

And we can look around at our world and feel as if all we see, and feel is “assault”. 

We can’t get along. 

We are allowing our identities to be blurred. 

These seem to be the riskiest of times.

For every step forward we seem to take at least two back.

And yet regardless of all of that, the TRUTH of Roman 8:37 weathers it all.  We will NOT be conquered. Not today, not by any demand or defeat!  NO!

We are more than conquerors thanks to CHRIST and the CROSS.

HE IS our impenetrable shelter!

That should embolden us.

That should enliven us.

That should invigorate us.

That should energize us.

That should “calm” us.

That should REASSURE us! (for me!)
