EYES ON YOU

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
2 Chronicles 2:12
“O our God…We do not know what to do, but our eyes are on you.”

This was part of a prayer of a king from scripture named Jehoshaphat.  He was up against a seemingly insurmountable challenge.  There were 3 armies all converging at once to take his out.  Yet instead of panicking, he recounted all of the times that GOD had delivered him in the past and rather than staring helplessly at the pending circumstance or the problem facing him, he instead turned his attention to the PROVIDENCE of GOD!
And as the charge of the enemy was pressing in, instead of doubting, instead of succumbing to the fear of the overwhelming odds, Jehoshaphat’s team lifted praise to GOD!
“Give thanks to the Lord, for his steadfast love endures forever.”
And as you have already likely surmised, they triumphed!

So why go all "Old Testament" on you today?

Because many of you who have called, texted, posted and met with me in recent days are feeling a lot like this king.  On the horizon are adversaries that seem too many, too large, too powerful, too intense for you to handle.  Fear has set in.  Chaos is causing doubt.  GOD seems so far away.  The options seem impossible.  Resources are scarce. Defeat is imminent.
Who are those armies?
Anxiety. Depression. Addiction. Relapse. Consequences.

All of them have assembled their troops and are ready for attack!
Don’t focus on them!

GOD will not let you down!  He has come through before, He will again!
2 Thessalonians 2:15
…stand firm and keep a strong grip on the truth
Truth like GOD will never leave you!
Truth like GOD is striding ahead of you!
Truth like GOD is capable of the impossible!

Truth like:
1 Corinthians 15:57
God…gives us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.

Romans 8:37
…in all these things we are more than conquerors through him who loved us.

My friends I implore you today to face your “impossibles” in the same way the king did!

Without fear and forged by truth!
2 Timothy 1:7
Amplified Bible (AMP)
7 For God did not give us a spirit of timidity (of cowardice, of craven and cringing and fawning fear), but [He has given us a spirit] of power and of love and of calm and well-balanced mind and discipline and self-control.

YOU TOO WILL TRIUMPH!

I love you all!
HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
