Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
Today…
…ask the Holy Spirit to fill your soul, to empower you to live God’s way.
…ask the Holy Spirit to align your priorities with God’s priorities
…ask the Holy Spirit to help you value what God values and want what God wants.
…ask the Holy Spirit to renew your mind and give you fresh doses of the faith and power.
…ask the Holy Spirit to help you with any and every significant decision.
…ask the Holy Spirit to help you see things today from God’s perspective.
…ask the Holy Spirit to lead you.
We sometimes forget that when we accept Christ, when we invite Him into our hearts and lives, He gives us the GIFT of the Holy Spirit.
John 14:16 (AMP)
And I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper (Comforter, Advocate, Intercessor—Counselor, Strengthener, Standby), to be with you forever— the Spirit of Truth…
When folks are baptized the Pastor will almost always do so in the name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. They often say that so that we might receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.
At least that is what I do.
And what a gift He is…
Comforter
Advocate
Intercessor
Counselor
Strengthener
Standby.
We could add adviser, accountability partner, conveyor of truth, director and friend to that list as well.
Truth is the Holy Spirit is waiting each day to be engaged. He wants us to be intimate with Him. He wants to wade into the tough discussions, the challenging decisions and the life-changing events with us. But He also wants to love and comfort when things are difficult and build us up when we are down or hurting.
He is fashioned after Jesus. The Amplified called Him the Spirit of Truth and we know who that is right?
Jesus answered, "I am the way and the TRUTH and the life – John 14:6 (NIV)
So why not invite Him into the mix today?
We often sing that song during worship
“Holy Spirit you are welcome here, come flood this place and fill the atmosphere”...
why not make YOURS the atmosphere to flood or your day to welcome Him into?

The Bible says…Romans 8:26 (ESV)…the Spirit helps us
Believe that.
Invite Him
Ask Him to join you.
He will.
