Have you thanked Him?

How blessed is God! And what a blessing he is! He’s the Father of our Master, Jesus Christ, and takes us to the high places of blessing in him. Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.

Let’s HONOR and THANK GOD right off the jump today. 

Whatever you were planning to do after reading this, pause and give GOD honor and gratitude first!

And if you can't think of something, grab hold of that "focus of His love" statement!!!

Long before GOD considered anything else in the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, He had YOU on His mind.  You and I are the objects of HIS AFFECTION and HIS ATTENTION!

My thoughts toward you are countless as the sand on the seashore.  - Psalms 139:17 (MSG)

And because of His intense love and undying affection for us, Paul reminds us that not only are we loved, we are accepted and adopted by GOD through Jesus SO whatever is in your way today, whatever has you feeling “less than”, whatever has you second-guessing your purpose or your value, put it aside.

GOD is ready to shower His gifts on your day today.

GOD is ready to lavish His love on you today.

GOD is ready to change the misconceptions and mis-perceptions that may be clouding your thoughts and heart and replace them with HIS LOVE!

There is no question that life that can keep us from truths like this from Ephesians; truths that validate the devotion of GOD, the love of GOD, the dedication of GOD, and GOD’S unwavering fondness for us.

GOD has a special penchant for you my friend.  You are on His mind.  You have a special place in His heart.  He loves and cares for you.
