IMMERSE

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)

The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

I read a quote some time ago that said:

“Major in the grace of God. Focus on the cross of Christ. Grow fluent in the language of redemption. Linger long at the foot of the cross. Immerse yourself in the curriculum of grace.” - Lucado

I like that last line, don’t you?

“Immerse’ yourself in the curriculum of grace.”

Jesus puts it this way.

Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiative, God-provisions.

Matthew 6:33 (MSG)

Steep yourself! That is another word for IMMERSE. It means to dive in, get deep, cover completely, to bathe and bask in “GOD stuff”.

Soak up the grace!

Bask in His Word!

Revel in His realities, and fully embrace His provisions and instructions.

So, the question for today is..."Are you willing to “immerse”?

No seriously.

The fact is that GOD doesn’t waste a single moment on us. He expects to dive in to each day alert and ready to learn rather than just blindly and foggily trudging through it.

He wants us focused!

He wants us listening!
He wants us learning!
Let the wise hear and increase in learning… Proverbs 1:5 (ESV)

Therefore, don’t just numbly wander through today. Instead dive into today with open eyes, open ears and an open mind to what GOD wants you to learn today.…So let’s not sleepwalk through life…Let’s keep our eyes open and be smart. 1 Thessalonians 5:6 (MSG)

Interactions and intersections are on the horizon what will we learn from them?

It is likely GOD has something to say.

Focus!

…listen to me. Do what I say, and you will live a long time. I am teaching you about wisdom and guiding you on the right path.

Proverbs 4:10 (ESV)

Get immersed!

HAVE A BLESSED DAY!

LOVE YOU ALL
