Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
Alder once remarked,
“One of the most important things you can do on this earth is to let people know they are not alone.”
And along the same thought, The Gaither Vocal Band recently released a song with this little lyric…
Better together, stronger each day
Better together, in every way
Different people, but so much the same
Sisters and brothers, from every land
Loving each other, we reach out our hands
Divided we fall, united we stand
We’re better together
We are BETTER together!
And as I have travel around meeting with churches, pastoral and lay leaders, and para-ministries, I am constantly re-emphasizing the importance of “better-togetherness”!
This was again true late last night as I was sitting and sharing with some dear friends from Springfield Ohio. Their effort is called the CELEBRATING RECOVERY HOUSE and from the early reports this ministry has endless potential and possibility!
But they had ‘hit a little roadblock’. While they had “some” support from the local churches, they were at a loss as to how to encourage them to CONNECT to the WORK; how they could encourage the CHURCH to CONNECT to those they were called to serve.
They wanted to be BETTER TOGETHER!
PRAY for this important work please?
Yet, I can’t say it enough!
This togetherness is crucial, helpful and changing!
And let me let you in on a little secret. The connections that are made will not JUST change the one we are called to serve or the one hampered in isolation, NO!
It will POSITIVELY and RADICALLY change the one who has chosen to wade into the space to serve, share and connect!
Trust me on that!
be like-minded and show sympathy, love, compassion, and humility to and for each other— not paying back evil with evil or insult with insult, but repaying the bad with a blessing. It was this you were called to do, so that you might inherit a blessing.
1 Peter 3:8-9 (V)
Connecting to and blessing others WILL result in us being BETTER TOGETHER!
We must as Alder suggests let people know they are not alone!
So today, TOGETHER lets:
…welcome one another as Christ has welcomed you, for the glory of God.
Romans 15:7 ESV
…not neglect to show hospitality to strangers...Hebrews 13:2 ESV
Show hospitality to one another without grumbling. 1 Peter 4:9 ESV
And remember my friends…

And we find IT BETTER when we seek IT TOGETHER!
