MISS A TRICK

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

…don’t take God for granted.
Every day…review the ways he works;
…try not to miss a trick. Psalm 18:23-24 (MSG)
and
In all your ways acknowledge Him,
And He shall direct your paths. Proverbs 3:6 (NKJV)

Good instruction.
How will you NOT take GOD for granted today?
Remember His grace?
Maybe today’s provision?

How did yesterday go?
Some things to review and thank Him for?
Perhaps something extraordinary happened?
Or was it just “another” day? Probably not!
Look a little closer.
Try not to miss a trick!

“In normal life we hardly realize how much more we receive than we give, and life cannot be rich without such gratitude. – Bonhoeffer

I know I keep getting pressed back to the criticality of gratitude to experience GOD’s RICH life for me.  I know I don’t want to take anything for granted.
And that begins with acknowledging His impact in all things.

So it is imperative that we both give God credit for whatever He is doing. But more than giving God credit, it is always realizing that God is indeed doing something. Many times, we overlook God’s role in the moment by moment affairs of life.

That is not acknowledging Him.

And Solomon is telling us that we should stop trying to always figure out how to do things in our own power and instead place all our confidence in what GOD is trying to do for us. And when He “does it”, whatever “it” is, acknowledge “it”, and be grateful for “it” because “it” is working for our good and fruition. (Romans 8:28/Philippians 1:6)

God wants to impact, lead and direct our life.
He wants us to be all that we can be by being all that He is!
And that starts with acknowledging His commitment to us, His path for us and His direction to us.

Let’s not "miss a trick"!

I love you all…
