Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
“Feed your fears and your faith will starve. Feed your faith, and your fears will.” ― Max Lucado
“Take that step of faith”.
We hear Pastor’s encourage us to do so quite often. “Without faith it is impossible to please Him” they say. I know you sometimes think, well that is easy for him to say, he is the Pastor.
Well as a Pastor I will be the first to confess those “steps of faith”
are just as terrifying for folks with that little title as for anyone. Stepping into the unknown, trusting GOD with the “next thing”, believing GOD no matter what is not easy. It is scary.

But GOD didn’t fill us with fear.
2 Timothy 1:7
English Standard Version (ESV)
7 for God gave us a spirit not of fear but of power and love and self-control.
GOD wants faith.
That brings me to today’s encouragement.
We have a young and vibrant Pastor on staff at my home church of AHOP named Briana Dupree. Her passion is clear, her genuine love for GOD always evident and her HUNGER for “more of GOD” pronounced.
And as she shared with the congregation yesterday she reminded us of four crucial things for the times in life when our willingness to step into “the unknown” or to pick up the pen to write our next chapter has us paralyzed.
1. GOD is FAITHFUL
2. GOD “gets” us
3. GOD is for you
4. GOD is with you.
Promises we know. Promises we have heard many many times.
But promises we often forget when “life” interrupts or interrogates.
Yet those four promises are backed to the hilt with truth; unmitigated, unwavering, unshakable truth!
GOD is faithful!
Deuteronomy 7:9 (ESV)
9 Know therefore that the Lord your God is God, the faithful God who keeps covenant and steadfast love with those who love him and keep his commandments, to a thousand generations…
GOD gets us.
Luke 12:7 (NIV)
Indeed, the very hairs of your head are all numbered. Don't be afraid; you are worth more than many sparrows.
GOD is for you.
Romans 8:31 (NIV)
What shall we then say to these things? If God be for us, who can be against us?
GOD is with us.
Joshua 1:9 (ESV)
9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and courageous. Do not be frightened, and do not be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.
Thanks to Pastor Bri for reminding us that GOD can be trusted and those who will wait in FAITH will experience GOD!
I pray you too will grasp these truths and step into your day unafraid and expectantly! Have faith!
Romans 8:15 (MSG)
15 This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next…?
HAVE A BLESSED DAY!
Love you all.
