THE BEST

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

Help lay to rest a good friend yesterday.
3rd one in two weeks.
To be honest, I am a little weary of penning eulogies and 3 minute snippets.

But for each one, each person who has left us there is marvelous hope!  Each knew Jesus!  Each is with Him as I write this morning.  Each has now experienced what we all long for, eternity with Jesus.

Yet funeral’s have a way of resetting priorities don’t they?  They make the little aggravations in life seem well…littler.  They serve to remind us that life is short.
James 4:14
The reality is you have no idea where your life will take you tomorrow. You are like a mist that appears one moment and then vanishes another.

So we need to make the most of it and do our best with it.

Colossians 3:23-24(MSG)
…Do your best. Work from the heart for your real Master, for God, confident that you’ll get paid in full when you come into your inheritance. Keep in mind always that the ultimate Master you’re serving is Christ. The sullen servant who does shoddy work will be held responsible. Being a follower of Jesus doesn’t cover up bad work.

So today’s message is a simple one.
Do your best today.
Make the most of the time you have been given today.

Don’t allow the “little things” to derail of keep you from the “main thing”; serving GOD.
That is what GOD asks.
That is what GOD will honor.
Life is too short to “do otherwise”.
Titus 2:7 (LB)
Let everything you do reflect your love of the truth and the fact that you are in dead earnest about it.

"When a new day begins, dare to smile gratefully.

When there is darkness, dare to be the first to shine a light.

When there is injustice, dare to be the first to condemn it.

When something seems difficult, dare to do it anyway.

When life seems to beat you down, dare to fight back.

When there seems to be no hope, dare to find some.

When you’re feeling tired, dare to keep going.

When times are tough, dare to be tougher.

When love hurts you, dare to love again.

When someone is hurting, dare to help them heal.

When another is lost, dare to help them find the way.

When a friend falls, dare to be the first to extend a hand.

When you cross paths with another, dare to make them smile.

When you feel great, dare to help someone else feel great too.

When the day has ended, dare to feel as you’ve done your best.

Dare to be the BEST you can"  – Steve Maraboli

HAVE A BLESSED WEEKEND!
I love you all.
