Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

I got home late last night to find my wife “frustratedly” staring at her phone. Work uncertainty, turmoil and change were the theme of her day. And for someone who rarely allows doubt or fear to creep into her psyche, this was a moment when the “sorrows (and uncertainties) like sea billows” were rolling.
Many of you know that my dad has been a worship/song leader for 65 years.
That is not a typo.
He has been at the mic with my mom accompanying him leading music for more than six decades. And if you ask him, that lyric, that old hymn, “It is Well” is one of his favorite to lead.
My guess is he has easily led it more than 1000 times.
And what a message that is hidden within that powerful hymn!
A message for my wife today as she wades back into the “billow” or for you whose “lot” may not be so great either.
IT IS WELL.
What is well?
IT IS “WELL”.
Whatever IT is.
Life, challenges, circumstances, pressure, or uncertainty, its attacks, messes, or upheavals all succumb to that “PEACE like a river” for our “WELLNESS” is the product of GOD’S promises and GOD’s protection!
We are “well” because we are His.
Bethel remixed that hymn a while back.
Give it a listen.
And be reminded that regardless of what you may be facing today, seas billowing, a "mountain" of a problem or as the Bethel lyric expresses, “when eyes can't see”, none of those things will stand.
Eventually the peace that passes all understanding will prevail and you again will be assured that “IT IS WELL”.
That’s the truth.
May not feel like it right now.
But…
GOD is bigger than any mountain you face today.
GOD is your stabilizer in the storm today.
GOD can and will make today “WELL” with your soul.
Believe it.
