RUST-PROOF

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

One of the nifty things about FACEBOOK is that “On This Day” feature.

And from time to time it just pops into your news feed.  Such was the case a couple of days ago, when it reminded me that I had posted this little passage on my daily a couple of years back.

PSALM 111:
...All his (GOD) products are guaranteed to last—
Never out-of-date, never obsolete, rust-proof.
All that he makes and does is honest and true: He paid the ransom for his people…
He's so personal and holy, worthy of our respect.
The good life begins in the fear of God— Do that and you'll know the blessing of God.
His Hallelujah lasts forever!

What a powerful promise to start a week.
Let’s break this out a little.

GOD…
All His products are built to last.
Makes me think of products like:
Grace
Mercy
Restoration
Peace
Joy
Strength
Hope

All that He does is HONEST, TRUE, never out of date, doesn’t succumb to rust.
Matthew 6:19 (NIV)
Do not store up for yourselves treasures on earth, where moth and rust destroy, and where thieves break in and steal. But store up for yourselves treasures in heaven, where neither moth nor rust destroys, and where thieves do not break in or steal…

And friends we have some of that rust-proof heavenly treasure already available for us today!
A covenant of personal investment in us!

And with a healthy and respectful “fear” or in other words a healthy life of obedience and honor will result in a good life; in blessing!
This passage reminds that:
GOD’s strength behind you, His concern for you, His love within you, and His arms beneath you, are more than sufficient for the job ahead of you. – William Arthur Ward

So, take this little promise from the Psalmist to heart today.
Our GOD is honest, true, and reliable.  All He demands is trust and obedience.  All He wishes to do is demonstrate His amazing commitment and covenant to us with blessing and ALL we need for what we will face today and every day.

Can I get a Hallelujah?
“We should be astonished at the goodness of God, stunned that He should bother to call us by name, our mouths wide open at His love, bewildered that at this very moment we are standing on holy ground.” ― Brennan Manning

Have a blessed DAY!
I love you all…
