WGD T-SHIRT

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
I got a rare opportunity yesterday. Pastor David Morris of AHOP in Xenia, the Pastor of THRIVE STUDENT MINISTRIES, an awesome ministry for teens led by an amazingly dedicated man of GOD, asked me to share a few minutes with the group last night.
Normally when I meet with a group of teens it’s usually at the school or in the context of a family intervention or an addiction education offering. But last night I just got to share GOD.
And while some may say the message was simple, I would argue that GOD often is simple.
The theme was simply this…GOD loves us.
And that is the truth after all. GOD does love us.
His occupation is to love us.
His goal every day is to love us.
GOD wakes up every day next to us at the bedside eager to tell us that we are loved, we are special, and we are HIS and no one else’s!
Did you know that before GOD decided to “do” anything else…make light, build the first dinosaur, craft the first orange grove, bring the H2 and O together to make a little water, He, GOD, was dreaming and planning ways to love us?
It is true!
Ephesians 1:4
…Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love. Long, long ago he decided to adopt us into his family through Jesus Christ. (What pleasure he took in planning this!) He wanted us to enter into the celebration of his lavish gift-giving by the hand of his beloved Son.
How cool is that really?
Before GOD put on His “earth-crafting” hardhat, He was wearing His “WORLD’S GREATEST DAD” t-shirt.
Isn’t that remarkable?
It is true though!
Jeremiah 31:3
“I have loved you with a love that lasts forever.”
Forever love. Forever “loved”.
From your first breath to your last, love, love, love.
So just pause and thank Him this morning for THAT love.
Chronicles 16:34
Give thanks to GOD—he is good and his love never quits.
I love you all and so does HE!
