NO GRAVE TENDERS ALLOWED - 4.9.2014

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
2 Corinthians 6:1,11,13(MSG)
…don’t squander one bit of this marvelous life God has given us. God reminds us…I long for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life…Open up your lives. Live openly and expansively!
The CHRISTIAN life sometimes gets a bad rap. Folks from the "outside" think it has to be a dull and drab kind of life.
Yet nothing could be farther from the truth.
How do I know? GOD says so!
Romans 8:15
This resurrection life you received from God is not a timid, grave-tending life. It’s adventurously expectant, greeting God with a childlike “What’s next, Papa?”
It is up to us to CHANGE that perception.
So are you ADVENTUROUSLY expectant today?
Or is it just another Thursday?
Has the energy of RESURRECTION SUNDAY already started to wane?
Why?
When GOD promises a blessed life and unimaginable life for those who follow Him; who trust Him with the day’s affairs!
Ephesians 3:20 (MSG)
God can do anything, you know—far more than you could ever imagine or guess or request in your wildest dreams!
Don’t have a countenance that reminds folks of the old joke where the cowboy walks up to the horse and says, “Why the long face?”
No! Don’t do it!
Be EAGER about the prospects for today.
Be “eager to serve” (1 Peter 5:2)
Be “eager for the gifts of the Spirit” (1 Corinthians 14:12)
Have an “eager willingness” to finish the work of faith we’ve begun (2 Corinthians 8:11)
Wait in “eager expectation” for God (Romans 8:9)
Be “eager to do what is good” (Titus 2:14)
Don’t be a grave tender!
There is a real magic in enthusiasm. It spells the difference between mediocrity and accomplishment. - Norman Vincent Peale
How about this one?
If you have zest and enthusiasm you attract zest and enthusiasm. Life does give back in kind. - NVP
Simply put, GOD desires for us to approach life with ZEST!
So let’s get this day of our lives off to a “zestful, eager and enthusiastic” start!
Let me help!
1 Thessalonians 5:16-18 (V)
Celebrate always, pray constantly, and give thanks to God no matter what circumstances you find yourself in…
No grave-tenders allowed!
I love you all!
