RESURRECTION REMINDERS

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

^1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

 

Yesterday was laced with POWERFUL reminders!

 

It started early with a trip to friend’s church.  It was there we watched her share her story of REDEMPTION because of a RISEN CHRIST.

 

Her “Pastor Greg” reminded all of us that without the POWER and the UNDISPUTED truth of the RESURRECTION, redemption was just a lie; without the EMPTY TOMB all of the “other” is FUTILE or folly.

 

The RESURRECTION changed EVERYTHING!

 

1 Corinthians 15:14 (NIV)

…if Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith.

 

Many folks acknowledge the life of Christ and others still the DEATH of Christ, but it is the acknowledgement and BELIEF in the resurrection that MAKES all difference when it comes to FOLLOWING CHRIST!

 

ROMANS 6:7-8 (MSG)

What we believe is this: If we get included in Christ’s sin-conquering death, we also get included in his life-saving resurrection. We know that when Jesus was raised from the dead it was a signal of the end of death-as-the-end. Never again will death have the last word. When Jesus died, he took sin down with him, but alive he brings God down to us.

 

He brings GOD DOWN to US!

The resurrection reminders continued with the powerful finale’ of BECAUSE HE LIVES at my home church, AHOP, driving home again the truth that our SAVIOR is ALIVE and HE IS WITH US ALWAYS. We can face uncertainty and the future BECAUSE He lives!
