NO TREPIDATION

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
ARE YOU SEEKING?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
Trust or “trepidation”?
Which one best describes your frame of mind this morning?
Really, what do you expect from the day ahead?
What is your plan? Are you set to trust God completely or is there some “stuff” waiting “out there” for you that has got you shook up or fearful?
Look, I understand.
There IS uncertainty around every corner and unexpected change is always lurking at the top of the stairs. We live in an unstable world and in some very unstable times. There is good reason for a little “trepidation” from time to time.
But put it aside today!
Make a decision to TRUST GOD with THIS DAY.
God’s Word makes it clear: you should trust Him and His promises and when you do, you are protected from 2 dollar words like "trepidation". ;) winking
Psalm 18:30 NLT
As for God, his way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him for protection.
So TRUST HIM.
Come on, isn’t it GREAT to remember that every day begins and ends with God’s Son and God’s promises? Promises like...
Deuteronomy 31:6
...the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”
YES IT IS!
But I do get “it”.
Sometimes, especially when we find ourselves caught in the inevitable entanglements of life, trusting God can get lost in the mix.
But don't let it, at least not today. Instead be comforted and trust the promises that God has made to you.
If you are worried or stressed this morning be confident in God’s power. Be courageous and call upon God. He will protect you from all of that “stuff” hanging around the front door this morning.
Talk with Him; listen to Him; trust Him, and trust His promises.

Psalm 145:1 (NIV)

The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises
and faithful in all he does.[a]

And toss that trepidation in the trash!
I love you all
