Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

^1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

Beth and I took Ian and his buddy Grant to see the “LEGO MOVIE” over the weekend. Had a coupon and decided to give it a whirl.

What a fun and clever film. It is pretty heartwarming too. I (along with Rotten Tomatoes) say it is one to check out! Clean, charming and surprisingly fun.

And trust me I am not going to spoil anything in this little DISPATCH for those who haven’t seen it. But oddly enough I was able to pull a little “recovery and FREEDOM” gem out of a film about LEGOs. Go figure.

For at one point in the film one character inspires another with this little quote. “You must BELIEVE in order to SEE…”

See WHAT you ask?

You too will have to lay down your Alexander Hamilton to find that out. But when the dialogue was delivered, Beth nudged me and said, "There is a DISPATCH in there somewhere."

And I would agree.

Day after day I work with lots of folks who just can’t “see” what they “can be”. And one thing is certain, they don’t believe in much of anything; most notably themselves.

Sadly what they often see and believe is what they have always seen and been led to believe.

A failure.

A drunk.

A victim.

Lots of mistakes.

No real options.

No possible hope.

Yet I “believe” that GOD has inspired and called US to help them to SEE something else; to BELIEVE and SEE what GOD sees in them!

TRUTH that says that:

Ephesians 1:4

… (GOD) settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love

1 Peter 1:23

(we) have been born again. This new life did not come from something that dies. It came from something that cannot die. You were born again through God’s life-giving message that lasts forever.

Ephesians 2:10

God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would spend our lives doing the good things he had already planned for us to do.

Romans 8:17

…we are his children, we will share his treasures—for all God gives to his Son Jesus is now ours too.

I could go on but I hope you all get the point.

There IS a wonderful message in that little quote made by a little LEGO fella. We all need to DAILY believe and SEE in us what GOD sees in us.

The enemy spends all of his time lying to us, telling us what we were, what we can’t be, and what we aren’t. Isn’t it time we all decide to BELIEVE in what GOD SEES?

Let’s start here. Let's start now!

Let’s believe that…

Colossians 1:13

…HE (GOD) has rescued us out of the darkness and gloom of Satan’s kingdom and brought us into the Kingdom of his dear Son, (Jesus)…

And see that we are…

1 Peter 2:9 (V)

...a chosen people, set aside to be a royal order of priests, a holy nation, God’s own; so that you may proclaim the wondrous acts of the One who called you out of inky darkness into shimmering light.

Thanks little LEGO Movie. Thanks for helping us to BELIEVE and SEE!
