LIVE LOVED

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

“Love is a commitment that will be tested in the most vulnerable areas of spirituality, a commitment that will force you to make some very difficult choices. It is a commitment that demands that you deal with your lust, your greed, your pride, your power, your desire to control, your temper, your patience, and every area of temptation that the Bible clearly talks about. It demands the quality of commitment that Jesus demonstrates in His relationship to us.” Ravi Zacharias

John 13:34-35 (MSG)
“Let me give you a new command: Love one another. In the same way I loved you, you love one another. This is how everyone will recognize that you are my disciples—when they see the love you have for each other.”

Tough order?  Loving like that is a TOUGH order!

Oh we throw around the “I love you’s” a little carelessly even flippantly don’t we?  But do we really get the gist of loving the way that GOD expects?
To the level He loves?

I mean loving into those who you know are going to break your heart.
Loving into those who are going to test your patience, push your buttons, betray your trust, upset your apple carts?

That is His way of love.

Don’t think so? Think again…

We can understand someone dying for a person worth dying for, and we can understand how someone good and noble could inspire us to selfless sacrifice. But God put his love on the line for us by offering his Son in sacrificial death while we were of no use whatever to him. Romans 5:7-8 (MSG)

Whoa…

So we have been given a TALL order today and everyday.

Yet let me help us both a little.

In order to LOVE like that, we MUST RECEIVE that LOVE!
In other words we can make this commitment to giving love only by first receiving love; His perfect love to share.

We love each other as a result of his loving us first (1 John 4:19 NLT).

God showed how much he loved us by sending his only son into the world so that we might have eternal life through him. This is real love. It is not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as a sacrifice to take away our sins.”  Dear friends, since God loved us that much, we surely ought to love each other (John 4:9-11 NLT).
The secret to loving is living loved. Many people tell us to love. Only God gives us the power to do so. - Lucado

Will you ACCEPT His love today so that you can do what He asked and COMMIT to sharing it?

If you do, then that TALL order is brought down to size.
Let's "live LOVED" and then LIVE love!

I love you ALL!
