Have
you thanked Him?
Have
you praised Him?
Have
you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have
you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know
how, for everyone you know.
Today…
· Major in the grace of God.
· Focus on the cross of Christ.
· Grow fluent in the language of redemption.
· Linger long at the foot of the cross.
· Immerse yourself in the curriculum of grace.
Today
is author and Pastor Max Lucado’s birthday.
And that little quote is from a writing called, “30 Days of Thoughts
(From Great Every Day)”
Go
back and look at it again.
Now
apply it!
Today, MAJOR in the
grace of GOD!
Remember this: sin will not conquer you, for God already has! You
are not governed by law but governed by the reign of the grace of God. Romans 6:14 (TPT)
Focus on the CROSS! Why? Because…
all the broken and dislocated pieces of the universe—people and things,
animals and atoms—get properly fixed and fit together in vibrant harmonies, all
because of his death, his blood that poured down from the cross. Colossians 1:19-20
(MSG)
That
is why!
Grow
fluent in the language of REDEMPTION.
For we must never forget that he rescued us from the power of darkness
and re-established us in the kingdom of his beloved Son, that is, in the
kingdom of light. For it is by his Son alone that we have been redeemed and
have had our sins forgiven. – Colossians 1:14 (PH)
Linger
LONG at the FOOT of the CROSS.
Moen
said it eloquently when he penned…” Now I can trade these
ashes in for beauty
And wear forgiveness
like a crown
Coming to kiss the
feet of mercy
I lay every burden
down at the foot of the cross”
And
lastly, IMMERSE yourself in the curriculum of GRACE!
Why?
(His) grace is always more than enough for you…2 Corinthians 12:9
(TPT)
There
you go!
Some
practical and most certainly helpful guidance for today!
Happy
Birthday Max and thanks!
I
love you all!
Have
a BLESSED WEEKEND!!!
