ATTITUDE ASSESSMENT

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
ARE YOU SEEKING?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
If you asked someone to give a one word answer to describe your attitude most of the time what would it be?
Pleasant?
Upbeat?
Enthusiastic and positive?
Or would it lean toward the other end of the spectrum?  Would they be quick to say…
Sour?
Salty?
Disgruntled?
What about NEGATIVE?
Be honest with yourself.  Are you an optimist or a pessimist?
Something to consider…
“A pessimist sees the difficulty in every opportunity; an optimist sees the opportunity in every difficulty.” Winston S. Churchill
Did you know that one of the inhibitors to “real FREEDOM” is negativity?
Christians and especially "recoverers" really have NO room for negativity.  In fact we must strive daily, be aware daily of its potential damage to our lives.
As thoughtful servants of a loving God, we have no valid reason—and no legitimate excuse—to be negative. So, when we are tempted to take the negative slant, when we feel the urge to complain and be pessimistic, we must use the transforming power of God’s love to break the chains of negativity. We must defeat negativity before negativity defeats us.
So when the negative spirit starts to rise within you, seek GOD!
Job 33:26-28
…fall on your knees and pray—to God's delight! You'll see God's smile and celebrate, finding yourself set right with God. You'll sing God's praises to everyone you meet, testifying, 'I messed up my life— and let me tell you, it wasn't worth it. But God stepped in and saved me from certain death. I'm alive again! Once more I see the light!'
Then praise GOD!
Psalm 95:1-2
Come, let's shout praises to God, raise the roof for the Rock who saved us! Let's march into his presence singing praises, lifting the rafters with our hymns!
Then check that negative attitude and opt for a little optimism!
Take a page from Swindoll today…
“The longer I love, the more I realize the impact of attitude on life. Attitude, to me, is more important than facts. It is more important than the past, than education, than money, than circumstances, than failures, than successes, than what other people think or say or do. It is more important than appearance, giftedness or skill. It will make or break a company...a church....a home. The remarkable thing is we have a choice every day regarding the attitude we will embrace for that day. We cannot change our past...we cannot change the fact that people will act in a certain way. We cannot change the inevitable. The only thing we can do is play on the one string we have, and that is our attitude...I am convinced that life is 10% what happens to me and 90% how I react to it. And so it is with you...we are in charge of our attitudes.” Charles R. Swindoll
Which attitude will you choose for today?

I love you all.
Be positive!
