WAY AND WORD

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

Are you struggling with which way to go today?
Life have you confused and “turned around”?
Finding it difficult to get your bearings?

I think I have a “way” to help.

John 14:6
Jesus answered, “I am the way and the truth and the life."

I know that is a passage you have heard and seen many times over.  Bumper stickers, little signs at the Christian book store, and on the cover of the little tracts and magazines in the foyer of every church from “here to there”.

But do you embrace that message?
Do you embrace, that even while so simple and succinct, the true measure of that promise from Jesus himself?

Do you pause to grasp that statement coupled with another fundamental truth from John 1...

John 1
1 In the beginning [before all time] was the Word (Christ), and the Word was with God, and the Word was God Himself.
He was present originally with God.
All things were made and came into existence through Him; and without Him was not even one thing made that has come into being.
In Him was Life…

…provide all that is needed for what you are up against?

It is often easy to forget when we are finding our WAY difficult or our lives perplexing that JESUS is the WAY.  It is often also easy to forget that He is and has the “WORD” needed to see our way clear and find our way through the chaos, darkness and challenge.

Simple put Jesus is THE WAY and JESUS is THE WORD!

And HE and that WORD offer the direction, guidance, and manual and pathWAY for the challenges we are faced to navigate today and everyday!

2 Timothy 3:17
Every part of Scripture is God-breathed and useful one way or another—showing us truth, exposing our rebellion, correcting our mistakes, training us to live God’s way. Through the Word we are put together and shaped up for the tasks God has for us.

Perhaps today you are being faced with a challenge that seems to have no WAY out.  Maybe it is a circumstance for which there are NO WORDS.  Take heart!

For both a WAY and the WORDS are waiting!
Trust GOD, through Christ to supply BOTH.

He has and He will!

So:

Proverbs 4:25-27
Keep your head up, your eyes straight ahead,
and your focus fixed on what is in front of you.
Take care you don’t stray from the straight path, the WAY of truth, and you will safely reach the end of your road.

Now that is a good WORD!

I love you all!
