TODAY BE THE DAY

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

"One positive thought in the morning can set the tone for the whole day"...

AND
...you’ll do best by filling your minds and meditating on things true, noble, reputable, authentic, compelling, gracious—the best, not the worst; the beautiful, not the ugly; things to praise (Philippians 4:8 MSG)

THEREFORE:

Let today be the day…free yourself from fruitless worry, seize the day...― Steve Maraboli

Ever heard of paralysis by analysis?
Are you an overthinker?
Are you a “projector”, a merchant of the “what if or I hope not”?

Change your perspective this morning.
Focus on something POSITIVE as you embark on the day.
Allow today to be today!
Embrace it for all it has, for all it is worth!

Remember: GOD is STILL GOOD. GOD is STILL blessing.
Fill your mind with those things Paul encouraged.  And...
…rejoice in all the good that the Lord your God has given to you and to your house... (Deuteronomy 26:11 - ESV)

Far too many times we get so focused on “what could be or what will likely go wrong” that we never pause to appreciate all that is good, all that the LORD has given.

Don’t do that today.

Begin today grateful.
Begin today positively.
Begin today free of worry.
Begin today trusting in the goodness, the track record and the love of GOD!
Matthew 6:34 (MSG)
Give your entire attention to what God is doing right now…

And
…awaken with a fresh sense of inspiration.
…open your eyes to the beauty that surrounds you.
…break through the barriers of the past by looking at the blessings of the present.

“When you arise in the morning think of what a privilege it is to be alive, to think, to enjoy, to love ...” ― Marcus Aurelius

And most of all remember:
This is the day that the LORD has made, rejoice be glad in it. (Psalm 118:24)

Can you do that today?
I and GOD both believe you can!

I love you ALL!
