INSPIRE BEFORE EXPIRE

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

There are many other scriptures that exhort us to encourage and to inspire one another. And yet, sometimes we get so busy in our own lives that we neglect thinking about others. We become insensitive to the concerns of those around us even though we are implored to guard against that!

Let each of you look not only to his own interests, but also to the interests of others. (Philippians 2:4 – ESV)

So how can we be a better encourager, a better “inspirer”?

The first step may be to ask God to help us be less self-focused and to be more sensitive to the needs of others. Then when your spirit stirs you, don’t hesitate to act. 

Give them a call, shoot them a text; a rightly time DM or EMAIL can make a huge difference. 

Take a second to ask another about their dreams. 

Then build them and it up!

I am so blessed today to be able to perhaps inspire my friends from “THE NEST” and the Attorney General’s office as we journey toward opening a new facility for the addicted.  Even this morning I have been in a little IM conversation about the INSPIRING kickoff to the “SOBER LOTUS” recovery effort underway here in my hometown of Xenia!

Secondly, inspiration sometimes takes the form of a listening ear—just showing we care by really listening to what others have to say.  They might be stuck or needing a boost! Maybe a roadblock has stymied their vision.  Just knowing that someone values them enough to listen can be an encouragement.

Thirdly, CONTINUOUSLY seek GOD for HIS GOOD Word for others.

Nothing can be more encouraging than GOD’S Word shared from a loving heart. Perhaps a demonstration of our faith in GOD and them will INSPIRE the needed action.

Did someone come to mind?

Someone who may need encouragement; some inspiration?

Pray.  Seek the WORD for a good WORD.

And then take action if you are so stirred.  For maybe the LORD is inspiring you to be the CONFIDENCE that they need.  Maybe the LORD is inspiring you to be the messenger that with GOD nothing is impossible!

I can honestly say there are NO better moments for me than when GOD inspires me to inspire another; when He pulls me out of my box and plops me into theirs.

So search your heart and mind for those around you and remember...

So before you expire, inspire!
