CONQUERING SHELTER

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)

The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

In tumultuous times like these it is CRUCIAL to EMBRACE what Frangipane is saying.

We can look around at our world and feel as if all we see and feel is “assault”.  

We can’t get along.  

We are allowing our identities to be blurred.  

These seem to be the riskiest of times. 

And yet regardless of all of it, Roman 8:37 stands.

We are more than conquerors thanks to CHRIST and the CROSS.

HE IS our impenetrable shelter!

That should embolden us.

That should enliven us.

That should invigorate us.

That should energize us.

That should “calm” us.

When my hope and strength is gone

You're the one who calls me on

You are the life

You are the fight

That's in my soul

Oh, Your resurrection power

Burns like fire in my heart

When waters rise

I lift my eyes

Up to Your throne

I will sing into the night

Christ is risen and on high

Greater is He

You are the hope

Nothing is impossible

We are more than conquerors, through Christ

We will not bow to sin or to shame

We are defiant in Your name

You are the fire that cannot be tamed

You are the power in our veins

Carry that message with you today!

Don’t bow.

Stay sheltered.

Trust Truth.

With God on our side like this, how can we lose? If God didn’t hesitate to put everything on the line for us, embracing our condition and exposing himself to the worst by sending his own Son, is there anything else he wouldn’t gladly and freely do for us? And who would dare tangle with God by messing with one of God’s chosen? Who would dare even to point a finger? The One who died for us—who was raised to life for us!—is in the presence of God at this very moment sticking up for us. – Romans 8:31-34 (MSG)
