ALL EARS

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
“Hey GOD…got a minute?”
“Tap…tap…tap…I am sorry to bug you Lord…but I got this thing…”
“GOD, I am not quite sure if you have seen or heard this one before, but…”
Have you ever prayed like that?
Prayed like GOD has you in this enormous waiting room and you are sitting there with your little number card waiting for the sign to flip to 1,457,980,012 so it’s your turn?
Or better yet, envisioning GOD as this incredibly harried guy behind a desk full of prayer cards and you really don’t want to bother Him with one more?
Or maybe for one reason or another you underestimate GOD and think your problem is too big or worse yet, too small for His time and attention.
We are silly creatures aren’t we?
Did you know that GOD loves it when we pray with Him?
Proverbs 15:8
…the prayer of the faithful is His joy.
I believe that we often forget that GOD is all ears when it comes to us! He delights in diving in and helping us with our “stuff” our issues, our trials and our triumphs! He loves taking us by the hand via His Spirit and guiding us through this walk of life!
Therefore we should approach Him confidently. Not like we are in some line or a waiting room, but as He instructed.
Hebrews 4:16
Let us go with complete trust to the throne of God. We will receive His loving-kindness and have His loving-favor to help us whenever we need it.
Contrary to what many of us think, GOD KNOWS we don’t have things together down here on earth. He is not surprised when we get ourselves into “messes”. He is not caught off guard when we stumble or are upended by the actions of others.
GOD gets us.
And because GOD “gets us”, and more importantly because GOD “loves”us, He knows we need to be interacting with HIM at ALL times! Why else would He also instruct us to...
1 Thessalonians 5:17
Never stop praying
I may be just taking a wild guess but something tells me you could likely use a little help from GOD today.
Just saying...
Maybe a loved one is ill. Maybe your future at work is at risk. Maybe you have a relationship that is on the rocks. Maybe you were just called to help someone who lost a loved one to suicide.
GOD is there and He wants to help.
GOD is waiting. Open up. Pray.
Your issue, your need, your question, your request, your challenge is number one on HIS list with no waiting.
Psalm 4:3
Look at this…He listens the split second I call to him.
I love you all.
