MAKE IT BETTER

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

Use whatever gift you’ve received for the good of one another so that you can show yourselves to be good stewards of God’s grace in all its varieties.

 

How do you plan to make today a little better for someone else?

Hadn’t thought about that?

Got a little too much on YOUR plate to even hope to consider the plate of another?

 

I know it is hard.

We are all so so busy.  The demands on each of us, on our time, our resources can be and is often exhausting. There doesn't seem to be the time nor the resources to even think about something like blessing others most days.

But trust me.

If you want a little more energy for your pending to do’s, add one or two that is designed to “bless someone else” to make another's life better...

(1 Peter 3:9

…bless—that’s your job, to bless. You’ll be a blessing and also get a blessing.)

...and GOD will infuse you with blessing and the energy to carry it out when you do!

 

But now you say you don’t feel like you have anything to offer someone else?

Read that little verse from 1 Peter again this morning!

That is not the case!

GOD has GIFTED you for the purpose of SHARING HIS GRACE.  GOD’s grace and hope are unlimited! GOD’s grace and hope are infinite in their supply!  Therefore GOD has gifted you uniquely today to SHARE what HE has already blessed you with!

So don’t get apprehensive or ever think that you don’t have enough in your tank to share or that what you have to offer another is of no value.

Quite the contrary!

What you have is truly remarkable!

How do I know?

1 Peter says that your "GIFTING" was picked ESPECIALLY for you to SHARE with others.  GOD crafted it.  GOD set you apart with it! GOD wants and longs for you to SHARE it so that HE might be glorified!  Don't miss out on that!

 

Yesterday we were challenged a little during STAFF to remember our “mission” not just as staff but as BELIEVERS.  That mission in a nutshell is to “make the lives of someone else BETTER both now and forever”.

 

That is NOT something we can accomplish on our own.  

But when we share the hope and GRACE of CHRIST according to our GIFTS, that is another story entirely! GOD THEN BLESSES the other THROUGH US and FOR US and AMAZING ENOUGH, GOD THEN blesses us too!

So ask yourself the question again.

How do you plan to make today a little better for someone else?
