GRACE HAND

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

Fall down yesterday?

Get‘it’ wrong? Allowed some compromise? Justified a little sin for the sake of sanity? You were selfish for a spell you say?

And now the enemy has got your ear this morning doesn’t he? Saying things like:

“How could you, I thought you were one of those Christians.”

“Those folks down at the church house are going to have a field day with you.”

“Wait until GOD gets through with you! You will wish you were never born.”

"Go back to bed sinner!"

My buddy Tom Thompson describes that the devil used to be at the foot of his bed every morning kicking him and stomping him with guilt and shame before he could even get the day started.

Then Tom found GRACE.

Grace that greets that enemy at the foot of our beds with an eviction notice and sends him, his guilt, his shame and his lies packing!

Titus 2:11

For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation for all people…

Have a bad day? Jesus is waiting to remind you that He has already taken that “less than stellar day” and covered that sin!

1 John 2:2

Jesus is the way our sins are taken away.

So we need to BELIEVE THAT and GET UP!

Without a doubt, we ALL will continue to fall down…

Romans 3:23

All have sinned and are not good enough to share God’s divine greatness…

…but we don’t need to stay there.

GRACE is extending its hand to pull us up! Loving, all-encompassing, infinite, cleansing, invigorating, energizing GRACE is REACHING out and guilt and shame are MOVING out!

“Marvelous grace of our loving Lord,

Grace that exceeds our sin and our guilt,

Yonder on Calvary’s mount outpoured,

There where the blood of the Lamb was spilt

Grace, grace, God’s grace,

Grace that will pardon and cleanse within

Grace, grace, God’s grace,

Grace that is greater than all our sin”

So GET UP, GRAB IT and get going!
