READY TO GROW?

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)

^1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

“Make a commitment to grow daily”, Maxwell says.

He's right. We should.

For GOD asks each of us to approach our days DYNAMICALLY!

1 Peter 1:13

So roll up your sleeves, put your mind in gear, be totally ready to receive the gift that’s coming when Jesus arrives. Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil, doing just what you feel like doing. You didn’t know any better then; you do now. As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness.

We can’t let ourselves be dragged down by past troubles or pesky circumstances. GOD inspires us to get up, get focused and approach each day with energy, HIS energy!

Malachi 4:2-3

…The sun of righteousness will dawn on those who honor my name, healing radiating from its wings. You will be bursting with energy, like colts frisky and frolicking.

Far too many times we stagnate. Why?

Because, work requirements and routines give us the sense that there is nothing new for us; that the same old is well...the same old. But GOD says something different; He wants something different. He is in the process each and every day of doing something NEW IN US.

Isaiah 43:19

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?

So the bottom line is GOD WANTS to advance us, stretch us, inspire us and grow us; show us what is new today. Our job is to let HIM!

2 Peter 1:2

Do you want more and more of God’s kindness and peace? Then learn to know him better and better.

Let’s get to know HIM BETTER today!

Open your mind and heart to what GOD has for you this day. Maybe there are opportunities to grow closer to Him, opportunities to experience doors opening or have your knowledge increase. Don’t MISS THEM!

Don't let the drudgery of the day dim your vision of the possible!

Instead get READY. The "next thing" starts today!

Titus 2:12-14

…This new life is starting right now, and is whetting our appetites for the glorious day when our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ, appears. He offered himself as a sacrifice to free us from a dark, rebellious life into this good, pure life, making us a people he can be proud of, energetic in goodness.
