FAKERY OF FEAR

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
I spent a little time with some “fearful” folks yesterday.

Fearful about trying to recover.  Fearful about their grandson returning from incarceration only to steal from them again.  Fearful about “upcoming” deadlines.  Fearful about being alone due to a broken relationship.  Fearful of the “next season”.  Fearful that they weren’t living up to GOD’s expectations.

Fearfulness can be defined as a “feeling of agitation and anxiety caused by the presence or imminence of danger.”

And while some fears are “good”, unbridled or unsubstantiated fear causes problems to seem greater than they really are. That sort of exaggerated fear makes life’s “problems” seem overwhelming.

That is why from time to time it is good to remember a few things about fear.
It is at its core “FALSE EVIDENCE APPEARING REAL”.
And often FEAR hangs its hat on "fakery".

That is WHY in the FACE of FEAR we MUST ENERGIZE our FAITH!  For FAITH is NOT FAKE!
For:
“Faith activates God – Fear activates the Enemy.” ― Joel Osteen

Therefore:
While fear imprisons - Faith liberates
While fear paralyzes - Faith empowers
While fear disheartens - Faith encourages
While fear sickens - Faith heals
While fear causes hopelessness – Faith ever hopeful
You get where I am going don’t you?

ACTIVATE your FAITH in times of FEAR and by DOING SO ACTIVATE GOD into those circumstances!

Remember and TRUST that GOD didn’t equip you for FEARFUL living!  You have heard me say it on here many times but it bears repeating!
2 Timothy 1:7 (NLT)
God has not given us a spirit of fear and timidity, but of power, love, and self-discipline.

So today my fear-filled few…
…set your heart on God (ACTIVATE FAITH) and reach out to him…keep a firm grip on life, guiltless and FEARLESS
(And then) You'll forget your troubles; they'll be like old, faded photographs. Your world will be washed in sunshine, every shadow dispersed by dayspring.
Full of hope, you'll relax, confident again…Job 11:13 (MSG)

Be blessed and courageous today!
I love you all
