NO NEED TO QUAIL!

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

Trust or “trepidation”?
Courageous or cowardly?

Which one best describes your frame of mind this morning?
Really, what do you expect from the day ahead?
What is your plan? Are you set to trust God completely or is there some “stuff” waiting “out there” that has got you shook up or fearful?

Look, I understand.
I have been talking with many of you.  There are some "scary things" going on.
Financial pressures.
You "aren't feeling" the best.
"Re-unitings" that are pending and they promise to not "feel so good".
Recovery related "consequences" coming to a head that would cause the boldest to cower.

Yes friend there IS uncertainty around the corner.
And yes unexpected change is always lurking at the top of the stairs.
We live in an unstable world and in some very unstable times.
There is good reason for a little “trepidation”.

But I want you to make the effort in these first minutes to remember to TRUST.
Make a decision to TRUST GOD with THIS DAY.

“Strength of my heart, I need not fail,
Not mind to fear but to obey,
With such a Leader, who could quail?
Thou art as Thou wert yesterday.
Strength of my heart, I rest in Thee,
Fulfil Thy purposes through me.”

That is a GREAT prayer!
Allow GOD to lead!
With Him leading HOW can you fail?  With Him leading there is no need to "quail"!
Psalm 18:30 NLT
As for God, his way is perfect. All the LORD’s promises prove true. He is a shield for all who look to him...

So TRUST HIM.
Come on, isn’t it GREAT to remember that every day begins and ends with God’s promises, His constancy, His investment in you, and His reliability? (Hebrews 13:8)
Deuteronomy 31:6
...the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you...
YES IT IS!

But I do get “it”.
Sometimes, especially when we find ourselves caught in the inevitable entanglements of life, trusting God can get lost in the mix.
But don't let it, at least not right now!

Be comforted and trust the promises that God has made to you.
Be confident in God!
Be courageous in God.
TRUST the PROMISES of GOD!
Psalm 145:1 (NIV)
The LORD is trustworthy in all he promises and faithful in all he does...

Tame that trepidation!
For sometimes the SIMPLE and FAMILIAR messages are BEST!

“Keep trusting God. He will lead you in every step of the journey.” - Akita

I love you all
