No "fooling"

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
April 1st.
You have a funny prank planned; a trick or two up your sleeve for a co-worker or a buddy?
I have a good friend S.P. who is always quick with a practical joke.It doesn’t have to be April Fool’s Day for him.You have to be on your toes constantly around him because behind that innocent countenance lurks mischief; harmless mischief mind you, but mischief all the same.
But with S.P. the “fooling” is all in good fun; his folly is friendly; his silliness safe.
Yet every day we encounter one who isn’t “fooling” around; one whose jokes aren’t funny and one who specializes in malice rather than mischief. He too is in the “fooling”business and we need to be on our toes!
1 Peter 5:8
Keep a cool head. Stay alert. The Devil is poised to pounce, and would like nothing better than to catch you napping. Keep your guard up.
He is no joke; no passing April fool.
And I can assure you that today, on the heels of our celebrations of Jesus’ resurrection yesterday, that he is more rambunctious than ever.
So keep your guard up.Keep your eyes peeled.Sharpen your spirit and keep watch over your heart and mind.
Deuteronomy 4:9
Just make sure you stay alert. Keep close watch over yourselves. …Don’t let your heart wander off. Stay vigilant…
Like the passage said, the Devil would prefer nothing more than to catch you off guard today; to try and destroy the emotional and spiritual high of Easter.
Don’t let him.
Don’t be deceived or fooled. Our enemy is a master of disguise; proficient at fooling even the most anchored and solid in the faith.
2 Corinthians 11:14
…The devil makes himself look like an angel of light.
So don’t be duped!
Get your guard up!
Ephesians 6:10
...So take everything the Master has set out for you… And put them to use so you will be able to stand up to everything the Devil throws your way.
He isn’t “fooling” around.
I love you all!
