Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
Love is not what you say; love is what you do – Hagee
Well as if the Ft. Worth/Dallas area wasn’t hot enough, we decided to venture four hours further south yesterday or as I like to say it closer to the surface of the sun. I mean it was 91 degrees last night when we emerged from the RIVERWALK in San Antonio at yes, wait for it, 9pm.
Yikes!
But enough of that.
We have been blessed on this little getaway by many re-uniting’s and some WONDERFUL experiences. Not just that, but getting some quality time with the family, even though there has been some work sprinkled in, has also been great!
But since we are in San Antonio and since while we were doing a little exploring and connecting last night we bumped into CORNERSTONE Church, the home of the Hagee’s, I thought I would grab a little simple and “to the point” quote from this longtime Pastor and outspoken leader and use it today as the catalyst for the OFH.
Love is not what you say; love is what you do…
God has made us what we are. In Christ Jesus, God made us new people so that we would spend our lives doing the good things he had already planned for us to do. - Ephesians 2:10 (ERV)
And since GOD is LOVE (1 John 4:8) I am confident that GOD equipped us with love in order to SHARE and DO love!
Max Lucado another San Antonio product encourages us to...
“Love like there's no tomorrow, and if tomorrow comes, love again.”
So, as we wrap up the week and as we wrap up our trip (big wedding tomorrow 😊), I will keep today’s OFH questions as short and simple as the quote.
Is there someplace where you can do a little loving?
Is there someone who could use a little loving?
Then perhaps today is the day to DO a little loving!
Simple enough?
Have a blessed weekend.
I love you all.
