CONTINUOUS LOVE

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
ARE YOU SEEKING?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
What is your mode of operation most days?
Did you know that each of us is called to “operate” our days “in love”?
We are to connect each day with the love that GOD has for us and we are to “operate” in that love.
1 John 4:7-8
Dear friends, let us continue to love one another, for love comes from God. . . . But anyone who does not love does not know God, for God is love
But some days it is downright difficult to “operate” in love isn’t it?
Disagreeable people. Disagreeable circumstances.
Someone slanders us.  Teammate lets us down.  Spouse is being unreasonable.  Boss is being his old tyrannical self.  Sure makes it tough to remember love, huh?
But GOD made it clear for us.  “CONTINUE to love one another” with HIS love.  Our love for each other is not derived from us, it is derived from GOD.  Being able to love in spite of “unloving” situations is a testimony of our CONNECTION to the LOVE of GOD.
Jesus said,
John 13:34
I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
But often we instead lash out, even dissect each other for the sake of “being right” without first remembering that we are to LOVE first just as Jesus did.
Even when those around Him continued to fail and behave poorly and sinfully, Jesus never failed to operate in love.  And HE has now offered that same power and ability to us.  Through HIS love we can love.  Through HIS love we can love continuously.
When we pause each day and openly receive God's unconditional love for us for there is a boundless reservoir of love available to us; but without receiving the love of God in Christ we will run dry.  Inevitably those will be the days where we fail to “operate” as we are called, in love for one another.
That is why it is so critical that we pause each morning to reflect and embrace the love that GOD has for us.  This will help to refresh our minds and soften our hearts for the day ahead; a day that is likely filled with unlovable moments and less than loveable interactions.
Ephesians 4:2
2 Be completely humble and gentle; be patient, bearing with one another in love.

I love you all.
Be blessed.
