LOVED YOU ARE!

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
Got the flowers didn’t you?
Chocolates? The card with lace and poetry? Come on fellas you didn’t forget did ya?
Ladies…something nice for your beau? Romantic dinner on the slate for later?
Oh the pressures of VALENTINE'S DAY; a Hallmark money grab in the eyes of some, the most passionate day of the year for others.
I don’t know where you fall on the little scale, but Valentine’s Day can be useful. Aside from lining Esther Price’s pockets and making your local florist smile, Valentine’s Day reminds us about love and LOVED we certainly are!
Jeremiah 31:3
Long ago the Lord said…
“I have loved you, my people, with an everlasting love.
With unfailing love I have drawn you to myself.
Now that is a Valentine’s message we can sink our teeth into without the cavities and weight gain that comes with that huge cherry filled chocolate heart.
GOD deeply loves us! And while we KNOW that we often FORGET that!
Yes, Valentine’s Day is a day for lovers. But Jesus is the lover of your soul…
He is.
You are His “bestie”, His "numero uno"! You are the love of His life!
Our Lord loves us with an infinite love, an everlasting love, and an indescribable love, a sacrificial love.
1 John 3:16
We know what real love is because Jesus gave up his life for us
So maybe there isn’t the big bouquet on the table or the little “blue”box on the nightstand. Maybe your Valentine missed the mark. But take heart!
Jesus’ heart.
He has set His affection on you. Way before “you were you”, Jesus loved you. So, Valentine or not, you are most certainly loved!
Ephesians 1:4
…Long before he laid down earth’s foundations, he had us in mind, had settled on us as the focus of his love, to be made whole and holy by his love.
I love you all!
