TOW ROPE

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.
My daughter had a little encounter with some slick roads the other night and after a ride that would make King’s Island proud she came to rest in a little field outside of BELLBROOK. Now before we go further she is just fine; the little PT Cruiser…however we will have to let the ROD SHOP decide.
But once she came to rest on the snowy plain she tried to move back to the road with no success. Forward and reverse, high speed, low speed nothing worked. She was STUCK!
It is so frustrating being stuck isn’t it?
You can see the way out; it is right there in front of you but you just can’t seem to get there. Man, that is maddening isn't it?
Truth is being “stuck” really does rhyme with another word doesn’t it?
Yet many of us sometimes feel SPIRITUALLY STUCK don’t we?
We fall prey to the rut of “doing church” or simply slogging off to bible studies or mindlessly doing our part for the “mission project” of the week.
Is that you today? Are you stuck? Do you feel like GOD has become more “routine than relational”. Well how about I offer a little tow rope this morning and help you get “unstuck”.
Wake up!
Psalm 57:7-8
I’m ready, God, so ready, ready from head to toe, Ready to sing, ready to raise a tune: “Wake up, soul!
Get focused!
Philippians 3:14-16
I’ve got my eye on the goal, where God is beckoning us onward—to Jesus. I’m off and running, and I’m not turning back.
So let’s keep focused on that goal, those of us who want everything God has for us. If any of you have something else in mind, something less than total commitment, God will clear your blurred vision
Remember and pursue your purpose with a little prayer! Jesus is waiting to help you!
Ephesians 1:11
It’s in Christ that we find out who we are and what we are living for.
And share a little spirit and a smile with those you meet today!
Romans 14:19-21
…use our energy in getting along with each other. Help others with encouraging words…
Are you with me?
Don’t spend today in yesterday’s quagmire or that rut in the road.
Instead wake up, get focused, be purposeful and share your spirit!
Do that and you will be unstuck in no time!
Have a blessed day!
I love you all!
