ALWAYS AVAILABLE

Have you thanked Him?
Have you praised Him?
Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?
Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?
1 Timothy 2:1 (The Message)
1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

There is something about the hour of NECESSITY that sharpens our wits and focuses our attention like no other ― Dr. David Jeremiah
Good thing in those “necessity hours” the LORD is READY, WILLING and most CERTAINLY able!
Psalm 34:17(NIV)
The righteous cry out, and the LORD hears them; he delivers them from all their troubles.

It is comforting to know that when the “problems” are mounting and the “pressure” intensifying that we can call on an ALWAYS available GOD.
Whew…! :)
For:
“Jesus changed the situation. When he paid for our sins on the cross, the veil in the temple that symbolized our separation from God was split from top to bottom, indicating that direct access to God was once again available.” ― Rick Warren

It is a little unfortunate however that when things are going swimmingly, we “lose sight” of GOD’s availability.  We falsely believe if there is no chaos, then we can manage.  It is sad that often it is only when the pressure is on do we gravitate back to our always accessible and available GOD.
And while He is most faithful in those times of crisis, I believe He would love to spend the not so CRAZY days with us too.  Don’t you?

“The irony is that while God doesn’t need us but still wants us, we desperately need God but don’t really want Him most of the time.” ― Francis Chan

Let’s change that today…
Let’s just call out to GOD.  Let’s embrace His desire for us.
Allow Him some room to navigate and to steer the day without the chaos.
Let’s do it because WE WANT His will for today and not just His deliverance.
Psalm 143:10 (NLT)
Teach me to do your will, for you are my God. May your gracious Spirit lead me forward…

For the truth of the matter is…
“We tend to use prayer as a last resort, but God wants it to be our first line of defense. We pray when there's nothing else we can do, but God wants us to pray before we do anything at all.

Most of us would prefer, however, to spend our time doing something that will get immediate results. We don't want to wait for God to resolve matters in His good time because His idea of 'good time' is seldom in sync with ours.” ― Oswald Chambers

So let’s sync up before “necessity” has us screeching or crying out chaotically again.
Sound good?

I love you all.
