DISCOVERED

Have you thanked Him?

Have you praised Him?

Have you made it your priority to agree and cooperate with Him today?

Have you taken that deep breath and listened for what He has for you today?

1-3The first thing I want you to do is pray. Pray every way you know how, for everyone you know.

The atmosphere was “thick”.

People were opting to move forward into it.

The music was beckoning those into it.

The momentum built in crescendo and lifted the room and then left those there impacted by the experience.

It was yesterday at AHOP. A day marked by the presence of GOD.  And while Tozer is absolutely right, GOD is ALWAYS, EVERYWHERE present, GOD does seek to discover Himself to us and some days He presents a special forum where individuals are given a “little broader” door for Him to walk through and encounter Him.

Remember, He is ALWAYS standing and knocking yet there are some days where the knocking seems more pronounced and our desire to encounter more intense and receptive.

Revelation 3:20 (NIV)

Here I am! I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in...

And while for many yesterday will be a marked day, we ALL need to be purposeful in our presence seeking.  GOD is WIDE awake and ANXIOUS for our interaction today! 

Open the door.  He is seeking to “discover” you and join you.

Jeremiah 29:13(CEB)

When you search for me, yes, search for me with all your heart, you will find me.

So what will it be today?

GOD is waiting to be discovered.

He has made Himself EASY to find.

Engage His presence.

 “Let us practice the fine art of making every work a priestly ministration. Let us believe that God is in all our simple deeds and learn to find Him there.” ― A.W. Tozer, The Pursuit of God

I believe far too often we try to “go it alone” or we leave the “presence” stuff for intense worship times on Sunday.  But again Tozer nails it.

Believe GOD is in the SIMPLE stuff today.

Believe GOD is "findable" in the SIMPLE stuff today.

Believe GOD wants to make the SIMPLE relevant and SPECIAL!

All it takes is a little DISCOVERY on our part…

And then we can...
